At DCB, our goal is to provide a quality-built home that is healthy, affordable, and low-maintenance. First, we provide healthy homes by using products and systems from Culligan for pure water and air. We even include a 25-year mold protection warranty on every home. Our affordability comes from passing on our savings to the customer by maintaining low overhead, buying in bulk, building volume, managing the business to reduce waste and maintaining a safe, clean work site. Finally, our homes need so little maintenance because we use name brand mechanical systems, windows, exterior products, insulation, roofing materials, and all the building materials in the house.
DCB Development, LLC has been in business since 1998. DCB is owned by Doug Claussen and is a member of the KCHBA and NAHB. Locally, DCB is a member of the Shawnee, Overland Park, Lenexa, and Platte County Chambers of Commerce. Doug is a native of western Kansas, growing up on a farm in Spearville. Doug received a B.S. in Business Administration from Kansas State University, where he focused his studies on accounting. In addition to building and business experience, Doug spent 7 years in Real Estate lending with a local bank in Kansas City. |
